Based on the same concept as the traditional THERMOCHIP
sandwich panel, a new series of esthetic and functional variations are introduced
that translate into an optimized product.
Appearance: More wood image, that is this product's
main characteristic. The star material in our wide range of sandwich boards
is fir, and in THERMOCHIP PLUS, it is promoted by obtaining
a finish with wider and thicker sheets.
Functional: On its upper face,THERMOCHIP
PLUS has a waterproof breathable sheet adhered to
the panel that provides an extra function of resistance to the passage of
water. It thus avoids later installation of waterproofing elements
with the consequent cost savings. This sheet is equipped with a lateral (lengthwise)
flap with an adhesive strip for joining the system between panels. Furthermore,
for the cross lateral flaps, self-adhesive tape is administered. This tape
is also waterproof and breathable for optimum roof protection. An independent
waterproofing system must be applied to joints at the ridgepole, wall, ceiling
and chimneys, etc.
Appearance: THERMOCHIP PLUS is sold with the entire
range of Thermochip finishes.

L - Fiberboard tongue for assembly between panels.
