The Sant Antoni Market is one of the most emblematic buildings in Barcelona’s Eixample. Built in 1882, this commercial space, with more than 53,000 square metres spread over 253 establishments, now looks renovated due to the complete rehabilitation directed by Ravetllat Arquitectura. THERMOCHIP has participated in the project, which, with more than 5,000 square metres of the THERMOCHIP TOH panel, forms part of the roof, where the size of the central octagon stands out. The remodeling, in addition to respecting the geometry of the market, has expanded underground spaces and improved its energy consumption thanks to the incorporation of a geothermal system.
