Since 2009, THERMOCHIP THH has been part of the roof of the Communications Palace of Madrid, current headquarters of the city’s Mayor’s Office. Approximately, 700 square metres of THERMOCHIP panels were supplied during the remodeling works of the space, where some functional areas of the building dedicated to the central Postal service were transformed to house the activities of the Consistory. Made up of two water-repellent chipboard boards, joined to an extruded polystyrene core, the choice for this project of the THERMOCHIP THH sandwich panel allowed for various configurations, fundamentally taking into account the load and insulation values.
