THERMOCHIP® rehabilitates the roof of the Church of Santo Domingo in A Coruña

The cover of theChurch-Convent of Santo Domingoin the old city of A Coruña has been rehabilitated using ourTHERMOCHIP® TCH sandwich panels.

For the 650 square metres of roof, a special panel with double-sided board was manufactured.cement-wood. The panels are made up of a 10 mm water-repellent chipboard, an 80 mm extruded polystyrene foam insulating core and a 10 mm cement-wood panel.

RESISTANCE TO MOISTURE AND INSULATION

A PROJECT BY FERNÍNDEZ-ALBALAT

The roofs of this church and its convent were built in the 60s of the last century. Due to its deterioration, in 2013 it was decided to replace it, respecting the volume and exterior appearance of the building.

The project was designed by the architect from CoruñaAndrés Fernández-Albalat, responsible for the rehabilitation of the interior of the temple at the beginning of the last decade. The use of our sandwich panelsTHERMOCHIP® For your final rehabilitation it guarantees a cover with a long useful life.
