Aid to carry out the Building Evaluation Report and for efficiency projects

There are two lines ofpublic aidintended for theenergy rehabilitationwhich are especially interesting for owners of residential buildings.

This is the support program to implement theBuilding Assessment Reportand theIdea Line, with subsidies for comprehensive energy savings and efficiency projects in residential buildings. 

The Ministry of Industry announced these subsidies within the State Housing Plan 2013-2016:

SUPPORT PROGRAM TO IMPLEMENT THE IEE

These grants are aimed at promoting the implementation and generalization of a Building Evaluation Report (IEE) that includes the analysis of the conditionsenergy efficiency, through a subsidy that covers part of the expenses of professional fees for its issuance.

The beneficiaries can be neighborhood communities, groups of communities or sole proprietors who carry out the IEE before the end of 2016.

The aid is equivalent to a maximum amount of 20 euros for each of the homes that make up the building, and a maximum amount of 20 euros for every 100 m2 of useful surface area of ​​the premises, without exceeding the amount of 500 euros, or 50% of the cost of the report per building.

IDEA LINE FOR SAVINGS AND EFFICIENCY PROJECTS

This aid program seeks to encourage the carrying out of comprehensive actions ofsavingand improvement ofenergy efficiency, among which is the rehabilitation of roofs.

Endowed with 100 million euros, the program has two types of public aid:

DIRECT AID of up to 20% of the cost of the action for works on the envelope and thermal installations of buildings.

REFUNDABLE LOANS: actions that incorporate biomass or geothermal energy, with a subsidy of between 60 and 100% of the work.
