THERMOCHIP® complies with the requirements of the Technical Building Code

Hesandwich panel THERMOCHIP®meets the requirements of theTechnical Building Code (CTE), approved in 2006, which establishes thedemandsthat buildings must comply with in relation to the requirements ofsecurityandhabitability. THERMOCHIP® responds to the needs ofisolation, energy savingandnoise protectionarranged in the standard.

ENERGY SAVING (DB HE)

Buildings must control energy demand,reducing the risk of damp appearanceand properly treatingthermal bridgesforlimit heat losses.

THERMOCHIP®,thanks to yourextruded polystyrene insulating core, it is a perfect solution for theisolationand theenergy efficiencydemanded by theCTE. Panels like THERMOCHIP® ALPHA include an extraisolationby incorporating insidereinforced rock woolfor onevapor barrier.

NOISE PROTECTION (DB HR)

According to the Code, buildings will be designed, constructed and maintained in such a way that theconstruction elementsof its enclosures haveacoustic characteristicssuitable for reducing thenoise transmission.

Oursandwich panelsThey incorporate boards such aswood chip conglomerate with magnesiteof the THERMOCHIP® TKHthat has propertiessound-absorbing or THERMOCHIP® DECOwhich also provides theT32 treatmentto reduce thenoise.

HEALTH (DB HS)

One of its basic requirements is theprotection against humidityof the buildings, which must useeffective building materialsin its prevention.

In this sense, the panelsTHERMOCHIP®TAH, THERMOCHIP®TCH eitherTHERMOCHIP®THHmay include boardswater-repellenteitherphenolicsthat offer a specialhumidity resistance. Hence its recommended use is in spaces such asbathroomseitherswimming pools.
