THERMOCHIP® TAH in the rehabilitation of the Bake Eder Palace of the BiscayTIK Foundation

THERMOCHIP® TAH, he sandwich panel with a frieze of fir Inside, it has been the material chosen forrehabilitatethedeckof theBiscayTIK Foundation, inGetxo, restored in 2008. The project, led byarchitectural firm G&C-Studio, from Loiu (Bizkaia), includes the installation of ourwooden sandwich panel THERMOCHIP® TAH with finish inLasur Oak. 

THERMOCHIP® TAH: MODERNITY AND DESIGN

THERMOCHIP® TAH is made up of awater-repellent chipboard, a extruded polystyrene foam coreand onespruce tongue and groove board.

Oursandwich panelsprovide this building built in1901the highest levels ofisolationandenergy efficiency.

HeBake Eder Palace, which was originally aaristocratic court residence, was indilapidated statedue to afire. It is a building nordic style, surrounded by a large garden, built by the architect Luis Elizalde.

For its rehabilitation it has been decided to respect thestyleandstructureof theoriginal building, giving it a touch of modernity and design thanks to our sandwich panels THERMOCHIP® TAH. 

THE BAKE EDER PALACE, MONUMENTAL ARTISTIC COMPLEX

In 2001 the Basque Government declared theBake Eder Palacemonumental artistic complex and2008, the town hall ofGetxohe gave it to house the headquarters ofBiscayTIK.

Currently, the building houses the areas ofaddressof the Foundation, in addition totraining spaces. TheBiscayTIK Foundationaims to promote the application of thenew technologiesin thelocal administrationand hisapproach to citizens.
