The CTE Simulator by THERMOCHIP® adapts your work to the new energy efficiency requirements

Simulador de CTEToday, March 13, theBasic Energy Saving Document(DB-HE) ofTechnical Building Code(CTE) which tightens the energy efficiency requirements that new construction and renovation works must meet. As we already explained in a previous post, heTHERMOCHIP® sandwich panelcomplies with the requirements of CTE in relation to insulation, energy savings and protection against noise established in the standard. Our new website includes the Simulator CTE which allows us to adapt our new construction or rehabilitation to the new requirements of the Technical Building Code.

Simulador de CTE

To do this, you only have to choose between the options of climatic zones, typology and inclination of the roof, use of the building, type of roof covering and whether it will have glazing or not. After filling in all the data, the tool will offer us specific data regardingenergy savings, fire, health and noiseto which we can adapt our work.

THE NEW ENERGY REQUIREMENTS OF THE CTE

The main changes contemplated by the new DB-HE are the limitation of the maximum consumption of buildings. In new construction or expansion, non-residential buildings must obtain a category B or higher and residential buildings will have a maximum primary energy consumption. Existing buildings must comply with the new values ofenergy efficiencywhen they modify façade or roof elements and when rehabilitation of more than 25% of the thermal envelope of the building is carried out.
