THERMOCHIP FLOOR is the solution of the THERMOCHIP HOUSING system for floors between floors and sanitary floors. The sandwich panel is installed on the load-bearing structure of the floor. At the bottom, the false ceiling covering Thermochip COAT and various accessories such as decoupling tapes, dry screed or sheets are removed that complement the system and adjust it to the performance required by the project.

Using THERMOCHIP FLOORreduces installation times, since the use of our solutions provides greater speed in the execution of projects due to their easy assembly compared to traditional floors; and leaving them ready for use after installation.
Another advantage of THERMOCHIP FLOOR is thelightnesssince due to its composition it represents a weight reduction and savings in the entire structure of the building. Modern construction methods are prepared to support the required loads of each project, what is achieved with our system is a decrease in the self-weight of the structure due to the calculation of more precise structures, this has an impact on benefits such as a foundation with a smaller dimension or less excavation.
Theacoustic performanceof our solutions are tested in the laboratory for all their variants. These tests analyze and certify both airborne noise insulation (the isolation of the voice or sound that is produced in each of the spaces with its adjacent space), and impact noise insulation (walking or clicking of heels on the upper floor). Our THERMOCHIP FLOOR AND FLOOR-S solutions meet the most demanding acoustic insulation requirements.
XPS is a hygrothermal insulating product, which is characterized by having almost zero water absorption. Therefore, it offers a greatresistance to the passage of waterand acts as avapor barrierin itself.
Our system of panels for floors from the THERMOCHIP HOUSING range is the only continuous insulation solution for mezzanines and sanitary floors without the need to implement more sheets or any other additional material.
In addition, THERMOCHIP HOUSING has the certificateDAU(Document of Suitability for Use) which refers to the performance of an innovative product or construction system in relation to the intended uses and the defined construction solutions, in the field of building and civil engineering issued by the ITeC. This certification evaluates, in addition to issues related to the load supported by the panel, issues of creep, passability or hard body and soft body impacts.
Another advantage of the system is the certificationPassivhaus for the entire envelopewhich guarantees compliance with the sustainability requirements established by the Passivhaus Institut.

Likewise, our forging system meetsthe regulations of CTE(Technical Building Code) as in the following cases:
HE – Energy Saving:
The complete solution for floors in contact with air (sanitary slab) must have an indicative transmittance according to annex E of CTE of Ut: 0.48 W/m²K for climatic zone E (more restrictive according to CTE). The panel, slab and flooring solution Thermochip Floor-S guarantees a transmittance Ut, between 0.41 and 0.16 W/m2K, depending on the core thickness selected.HR – Protection against noise
: According to data provided by the laboratory, the overall A-weighted acoustic reduction index for THERMOCHIP FLOOR panel is RA= 53 dBA.HS – Health
: The Technical Code establishes that a membrane-type barrier will be considered as such with a diffusion coefficient against radon less than 10-11 m2/s and a minimum thickness of 2mm. The certification obtained guarantees that our TFBC panel systemYEAH
– Safety in case of fire:In chambers through which electrical installations run, such as false ceilings, it is necessary to have a reaction to fire B-s2,d0. In this sense, the Thermochip Floor solutions have a reaction to fire of B-s1,d0 above what is required. The Thermochip Floor solutions have been tested in the laboratory with different configurations. For wooden structures we achieve an REI60, while for steel structures we achieve an REI45 in configuration with false ceiling Thermochip COAT and an REI120 in the case of false ceiling with Thermochip COATrf.SE – Structural safety:
Thermochip Floor solutions are certified byDAU 20/121 – THERMOCHIP SLU (itec.es)Which means that they have passed load, hard body impact, soft body impact, walkability or creep tests. The loads it supports are well above the requirements for any type of use that the floor will have.31 Mar 2026
