THERMOCHIP® on the roof of the largest Buddhist temple in Europe

Thesandwich panels THERMOCHIP®They cover the largest Buddhist temple in Europe. Located in the Galician village of Ventoselo (San Amaro, Ourense), theChu Sup Tsang monasteryBuilt in 2012, it has a fully insulated and efficient roof thanks to the 400 square metres ofTHERMOCHIP® TAH.

For this project, asandwich panelconsisting of a 10 mm water-repellent chipboard, a 50 mm extruded polystyrene foam core and a 19 mm spruce tongue-and-groove board.

The result is a covered with great resistance and beauty, which highlights the rehabilitation of this old stone building, intended to house aBuddhist University in Spainaimed at spreading and preserving Tibetan culture.

A SPIRITUAL AND BUDDHIST KNOWLEDGE RETREAT

The house restored in San Amaro by theChup Sup Tsang FoundationIt serves as accommodation for people seeking a spiritual retreat and to delve deeper into the knowledge of Buddhist traditions.

The temple has 55 seats and plans to build a place of prayer and a library.
