Successful participation in Madrid of the conference on ‘Rehabilitation and Sustainability’

The last monographic session ofAulamaderaaboutRehabilitation and Sustainability which was held yesterday atAssembly Hall of the Ministry of MadridIt was a great success with almost a hundred attendees. THERMOCHIP®, the companyleader in the sector of sustainable roofing solutions, collaborates in this cycle of technical conferences designed especially forarchitects, technical architects, engineers and techniciansgenerally involved in the process ofrehabilitation of built heritageand in theconstruction with wood.

The session ofAulamaderafocused on therehabilitation of buildings with wood, providing knowledge and criteria regarding theapplication regulations, of thetechnical properties of materialsand one of the beststrategies for intervention in structuresexisting.

In the last two years, the sessionsRehabilitation and Sustainability have managed to establish themselves as a meeting and training space forwood professionals. The last session took place atAssembly Hall of the Ministry of Public Works(Paseo de la Castellana, 112 – Madrid) with absolute success in participation since afull capacity. The session was attended by D.Javier Martin, representative of the General Directorate of Architecture, Housing and Land of the Ministry of Public Works; and Mrs.Marta Conde, Secretary General ofWood. Spanish Wood Society.

Those attending the session will be able todownload for free through the website ofWood and under registration, the Application Document to theTechnical Building Code Design and calculation of joints in wooden structures.
