TheTHERMOCHIP® wood sandwich panels cover theTeide National Park Administrative, Interpretation and Services centre. The 3,300 square meter building, located in La Orotava, named after the geologist and naturist Telesforo Bravo, also has a visitor centre.
Those responsible for this new infrastructure chose thecontinuous insulation systemTHERMOCHIP®thanks to its advantages such asthermal insulatoranddecorative element. In fact, it is the only wooden panel on the market in which all four sides of the panel integrate a tabless assembly method. Its structure, with an extruded polystyrene insulating core and two boards, createsmore efficient covers, by eliminating thermal bridges and facilitating the installation of the panels.

For this unique project, the panels were selected THERMOCHIP® PHENOLIC (TFH)veneered in grooved pine. A finish with an excellent quality ofhumidity resistance, which also gives a touch of warmth to the whole. With this new building, the objective of improving attention to visitors to the Teide National Park becomes a reality. The centre is divided intothree zones: an administrative and management part of the park, another dedicated to the reception of visitors and the last area used as an assembly hall and exhibition hall.
Thanks to its exceptional biological wealth, theTeide National ParkIt is one of the most spectacular geological monuments in the world. Included in 2007 on the list ofUNESCO World Heritage, the park now has aInterpretation centrewhich offers the visitor a unique informative and educational exhibition. In fact, in the centre you can see the audiovisual recreation of a volcanic eruption, the model of the Teide structure from the bottom of the sea or even a viewpoint with views of the highest peak in Spain.
